The basic requirement was to have a single view for the CEO/CFO/Management that would allow them to see how the hospital is performing.

The hospital’s management does not have a clear visibility on various important data and KPIs which would have allowed them to monitor and take proactive steps. A clear view was not available and hence it was hampering the hospital’s competitiveness in the marlet.

Using Power BI’s Enterprise Gateway and Power BI, iGrid built a number of dashboards and visuals which pulls data from the HIS(Hospital Information System), other databases, and Excel sheets to present information, such as, Total Out Patients, Total In Patients, Patients by Discipline, Patients by State (within India), Patients by Country (international patients), Patients by Doctor, Surgeries by Doctor, Total Revenues and various other indicators.

With Microsoft Power BI, Zone One produced multiple dashboards that created an opportunity for immediate review. The top management is now able to visually discover the performance of their hospitals with clear insights into sales and marketing. The company needed an easy-to-use solution that connects their data from disparate systems and visualizes them in a dynamic and self-service way. With Power BI, this problem was solved.
